Dedicated to the memory of KJ

This site is a tribute to my sister Kirsten (KJ at home) who was born in Glasgow on March 30, 1971. She was a much loved sister, daughter and friend and will always be remembered with much love and affection.

Kirsten had a great sense of fun, was the most caring and gentle natured person (though no push over!) and ever so practical.  She had a natural flair for colour and her own style, evident in the make up she applied, furniture she made and upholstered and homes that she created.  These homes were filled with furniture and souvenirs that she collected on her many travels (Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Italy, USA and South Africa), things of beauty that had so many memories attached and gave her such pleasure even, and especially, when she could no longer travel.  She always appreciated and noticed the small things in life - kindness in people, beauty in nature and bore her journey with MS with such dignity and dogged determination.  Her sense of humour never failed her.

i feel so priviledged to have known and loved her for all of her (nearly) 47 years.

If you have a memory or thought to share then it would be lovely if you added it below.
